In Support of A Letter About Google AMP

If you’re reading my stories on mobile, you may notice that I dont use Google AMP for my pages. If you’re not technically inclined, you may not know what AMP is; however, you may notice that my pages don’t look the same as many other mobile pages.

AMP is a technology that was developed by Google. By their claim, the purpose is to make mobile browsing faster and more efficient. However, it does not meet this goal. In fact, it may actually push web development in general backwards.

Instead, I have decided to focus on making my entire site efficient. That way, both mobile and desktop users get to experience my stories in the same way.
