First Contact

People who don’t travel often think of manners as a simple thing. Anything you do is either polite or impolite. However, those of us who do travel soon discover that the concept of politenes is far from universal. What you think of as a polite greeting could be a deadly insult in another part of the world.

While I hope that nothing this extreme would happen, I wrote a short story in two views. Both stories cover the same event; however, each one is from a different point of view.
